Responsibilities*
? Provides oversight and clinical guidance for 23 FTE working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
? Preforms routine studies and complex, pre-surgical procedures
? Preforms surgical procedures; grid placements, intra and extra- operative sensory and motor mapping, creating montages, and bedside placement of scalp leads and external connectors
? Trains EEG technologists on routine and advanced studies
? Preforms 2-hour scans for seizures, record integrity, and patient safety on all patients actively being monitored
? Creates daily schedules and oversees real-time lab flow; updating tech calendars, completing rotation schedule, troubleshoot flow issues as they arise, facilitating communication with scheduling staff and providers
? Partners with Admin Manager on EEG tech onboarding, training, and continuing education; skill checks, clinical compliance, performance tracking, mentor for EEG registration pathways
? Partners with Admin Manager on conducting meetings with EEG clinical staff related to employee engagement and process improvement
? Maintains EEG Lab Accreditation; develops competencies, validations, and quality assurance tools to ensure lab procedures are being followed and accreditation requirements are met
? Maintains Natus [clinical/patient data] and Tableau [clinical volume/billing data] databases
? Support ongoing clinical research trials by completing GCP and study protocol requirements
? Facilitate communication with scheduling staff and doctors
? Clean and stock patient exam rooms
? Creating copies of EEG records at parent?s/physician?s request
? Point of contact for supplies needed from Material Service Center, Linen Distribution, and Central Sterile Processing
? Radiation Safety and Infection Control Liaison
? HRO Safety and Reliability Coach and Safety Liaison
? Get Well Network and COVID 19 Safety Coordinator
? Lead in mock/formal JC surveys
Required Qualifications*
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with preforming pre-surgical and surgical procedures
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient setting
- Experience with training EEG technologists
- Required Credentials: R. EEG T., CLTM
Desired Qualifications*
- Previous leadership experience is highly desired
- Experience training students
Work Schedule
We have 2 Allied Health Supervisor positions open; 1 day shift supervisor, 1 night shift supervisor
*work schedule may include weekend hours to support the needs of all shifts
Background Screening
